At the upcoming Paris Motor Show, SsangYoung will continue its series of concept cars with the e-XIV concept, after the XIV-1 and XIV-2 have been shown at the 2011 IAA and the 2012 Geneva Motor Show back in March.

According to the Korean carmaker, the electric vehicle is 4,160 mm long, 1,790 mm, 1,575 mm high and with a 2,600 mm wheelbase. It might preview a production version.

The crossover also features a glass roof for the rear passengers to feel less claustrophobic and roof mounted solar cell panels to supply pollution free solar energy.

Under the bonnet, the powertrain is a Range Extender EV with electric motors to provide the propulsion and a petrol motor which charges the batteries when they’re running low.
