Smart Forstars Concept announced ahead of Paris

Smart has recently announced the Forstars Concept, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on September 27.
Compared to the ForTwo, the concept has a 23.7-inch longer wheelbase at 97.2-inch and a 33.7-inch longer overall length at 139.8-inch. On the other hand, it's slightly lower in height (-1.4-inch) and wider in width (+5.9-inch).
Details are limited, but the car will come with an electrically operated tailgate, a convex glass roof, 21-inch wheels wrapped in 245/35 Michelin tires. In addition, it is also fitted with a video projector, Bluetooth, iPhone connectivity and hammock-style seats.
Under the hood, the sports coupe is powered by a new electric motor from Mercedes-tuner Brabus paired with a 17.5kW/h battery, producing 80 hp and 96 lb-ft of torque. It allows the car to hit a top speed of 81 mph.
