Porsche has officially presented the Panamera Sport Turismo concept at the Paris Motor Show today.
Designed to preview a new styling language for the next Panamera saloon, the concept measures 4,950 mm long, 1,990 mm wide and 1,401 mm tall which makes it 20 mm shorter, 61 mm wider and 17 mm lower than the standard Panamera. The Sport Turismo is painted in Liquid Metal Blue paint and features LED headlights, ventilated front fenders and an adaptive carbon fiber roof spoiler.
Inside, the cabin incorporates leather upholstery, Alcantara trim and metallic accents. There's also a large TFT display screen in the instrument cluster which is flanked by displays for the exterior mirror cameras and a large infotainment display on the center console.
Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system which combines a 333 hp supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, a 95 hp electric motor and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The system's total output is 410 hp which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than six seconds. In terms of efficiency, the concept's combined fuel consumption is less than 3.5-liter per 100 km (67.2 mpg US or 80.7 mpg UK) and has CO2 emissions under 82 g/km.
In pure electric mode, the Panamera Sport Turismo has a range of more than 30 km and can reach speeds up to 130 km/h. A full battery recharge can be completed within two and a half hours.
