Honda has recently confirmed plans to launch a new generation of the Civic Type R in 2015 the European market. It will be developed on technology from Honda’s WTCC division. More importantly, the hot hatch will become "the fastest front-wheel-drive vehicle on the Nürburgring race course".
In related news, the Japanese carmaker also plans to introduce a replacement for the Fit, also known as the Jazz in Europe, in 2013. Within two years after the initial market presentation, they will launch a small SUV based on the new generation of the Fit/Jazz as well as a replacement for the City small sedan.
In addition, Honda CEO Takanobu Ito also confirmed that the production version of the all-new Acura RLX sedan will debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 28.
