Hofele-Design has recently launched a new tuning program for the new Mercedes-Benz ML W166.
Called the “Starcruiser GT 550”, the package features a 14-piece wide body kit which includes a new front bumper with large air intakes and LED daytime running light module with five single LEDs. There's also front and rear fender extensions, side skirts, a wider rear apron diffuser, quad stainless-steel tailpipes and a tailgate spoiler. The kit costs around €6,500 (including VAT) and can be used on all ML models except for the ML 63 AMG.
The interior boasts hand-stitched leather surfaces in three different shades and ornamental seams. Leather has appeared on the front and rear arm rests, door panels and on the steering wheel. Pricing starts around €5,900.
For added performance, the 350 BlueTec diesel engine has been tuned to produce 312 hp and 700 Nm of torque from the standard 258 hp and 620 Nm.
To cope with the extra power, the German tuner installed an electronical lowering module, which can bring the car closer to the ground by 40 mm at speeds of 80 km/h, and a new set of REVERSO II alloy wheels in sizes 9x20 and 10x22.
