Kia has just announced the official pricing information for the Optima Hybrid in Europe, where it has a starting price at €28,995.
According to the South Korean carmaker, the Optima Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 150 hp and 180 Nm of torque, along with a 40 hp electric motor. The total output developed by the hybrid powerplant is 190 hp and 245 Nm of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 9.2 seconds. In terms of efficiency, it returns an average of 6.72-liter of fuel per 100 km in the city and 5.9-liter of fuel per 100 km on the highway.
Offered in two trim levels, the higher-spec version gets full-leather upholstery, xenon headlamps, tire pressure monitor, ventilated driver’s seat, 12-speaker sound system, sat-nav, rear parking camera and special 17-inch alloy wheels.
