The first picture of the Jaguar F-Type has leaked thanks to a Facebook posting from automotive spy photographer Chris Doane, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Heavily influenced by the C-X16 concept which debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the two-seat roadster features LED-infused headlights, an oval grille and a ventilated hood. There's also front fenders vents and sport seats.
Under the hood, expect a choice of three model variants: a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque as well as 380 hp and 460 Nm of torque, along with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 which produces anywhere from 510 hp to 550 hp.
The British carmaker has already revealed that the F-Type will go on sale next year. All models will be offered at launch with an eight-speed automatic, while a manual gearbox will be introduced at a later stage.
