North American carmaker Ford has recently announced plans to offer the Mustang in Europe.
Speaking at the company's "Go Further" event in Amsterdam, Ford CEO Alan Mulally said "We heard it here first - Mustang, the American icon, is coming to Europe!". He added "We will have more details to share in the future. One thing we can say for sure what has made Mustang such a sensation in the U.S. for nearly 50 years soon will be enjoyed by customers in Europe".
Mulally declined to go into specifics, but the car may be offered in Europe after the next-generation Mustang is launched in the U.S. in 2014.
