Ford has just introduced the EcoSport, which has been launched in India and China, at the Go Further event organized in Amsterdam.
According to the North American carmaker, this SUV will be launched in Europe within the next 18 months. It is built on the eFord B-platform, which underpins the Fiesta, Mazda2 and the B-Max, and will have five seats. At launch, the car will be powered by a new 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine.

Our engineering team used their years of EcoSport experience to make every aspect of the next-generation EcoSport even stronger," said Ford president and CEO Alan Mulally in a previous press release.
