At the upcoming Paris Motor Show, BMW will introduce an M Performance Power Kit for the 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which resides in the 120d, 320d and 520d models.
According to the German carmaker, the kit features a larger charge air cooler and an optimized ECU. This allows the engine to produce 197 hp and 420 Nm of torque from the standard 181 hp and 379 Nm.
BMW also says that the increase in power helps the models improve acceleration from 0-100 km/h by up to 1.0 seconds, while keeping the same fuel consumption and CO2 emission figures of the regular versions in the EU test cycle.
