Audi has recently announced the price details for the SQ5 TDI Exclusive - a limited edition of the SQ5 TDI.
Only 50 units will be produced and pricing starts at €92,000 ($120,000 at the current exchange rates). It's €33,500 ($43,500) more than the regular SQ5 TDI.
According to the German carmaker, the model is distinguished by an 'Aral Blue' crystal effect exterior finish. For the interior, the multifunction sports steering wheel, black sport seats and the gear lever are covered in Fine Nappa leather with contrasting stitching in snow white. In particular, this is the first time that woven leather has been used on a production vehicle.
Power still comes from a 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 diesel engine 308 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission which sends power to a quattro all-wheel drive system. This allows the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h. Engine stop-start is among a range of efficiency technologies that help restrict fuel consumption to an official 7.2 liters per 100 km.
Before hitting in German showrooms in the first quarter of 2013, the Audi SQ5 TDI Exclusive will be presented at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
