According to Autocar, Audi will showcase a concept version of the Q2, called the Crosslane Coupe Concept, at the Paris Motor Show tomorrow.

The two-door SUV with a 2+2 seating configuration is based on the MQB platform developed by Volkswagen. The concept is 4,250 mm long, 1,500 mm high and 1,900 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. This makes it slightly longer, wider and taller than the three-door A3, but shorter and lower riding than the current Q3.

Under the hood, the Crosslane is powered by a 116 hp electric motor and battery pack, while a 3-cylinder 1.5-liter with 132 hp works only as a generator so it doesn’t drive the wheels. The car can travel around 128 km on electric alone.

Four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines will also be offered in the Q2’s lineup, with a choice of front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
