Chrysler has announced the pricing details for the 2013 SRT Viper. Accordingly, the entry-level model has a starting price of $97,395, while the GTS version, which is built on the base Viper with more tech including two-mode active suspension, will cost $120,395. Both of these prices do not include a $1,995 destination charge
According to the North American carmaker, both models are powered by a mid-front, all-aluminum 8.4-liter V10 engine with 640 hp and 812 Nm of torque. It is mated to a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission which delivers the power to the rear wheels through a speed-sensing limited slip differential.
Production of the 2013 SRT Viper will take place this November at Chrysler’s Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, while dealer orders are expected to open in mid-November.
