Jaguar has officially revealed the all-new F-Type in Paris at the Musee Rodin Museumin.

According to the British carmaker, three variants will be introduced at the Paris Motor Show tomorrow, including the F-Type, F-Type S and the F-Type V8 S. The first one is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 340 hp, while the second one features the same engine tuned to produce 380 hp. As for the V8 S, it has a newly developed V8 engine with 495 hp and 625 Nm of torque. The engine offers a torque-to-weight ratio of 375 Nm/tonne, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h, with CO2 emissions of 259 g/km.

All engines are mated to an eight-speed Quickshift transmission, while the V6 S sporting a Dynamic Launch feature.

Both the chassis and the bodywork are constructed of aluminum in order to keep weight as low as possible while increasing rigidity by more than 30 percent in key areas compared to any other Jaguar model.

The legendary E-Type successor is also fitted with an all-aluminum double wishbone suspension and an active exhaust system which is offered as standard for the S and V8 S versions. There's also an active rear spoiler which deploys at speed to reduce lift by up to 120 kg. The total weight of the car is just 1,597kg.

The 2013 Jaguar F-Type is scheduled to hit the showrooms in United Kingdom in May next year. Pricing starts at £58,500 for the V6, £67,500 for the V6 S and £79,950 for the V8 S.
