The 2013 Honda CR-V will be on sale in UK this October and has a starting price of £21,395 for the base model with a 2.0-liter petrol engine and front-wheel drive, while the range-topping 2.2-liter diesel model costs £32,650.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the entry-level S variant will be offered in both 2WD and 4WD configurations and a manual transmission. An automatic gearbox is available as an option only on the 4WD versions. Standard features include i-MID multimedia system, idle stop, hill start assist, air conditioning, 17-inch alloys, fabric upholstery, cruise control, one-touch folding rear seats and USB/AUX support.
The SE trim level adds automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, parking sensors, leather steering wheel and gearstick, six-speaker stereo system, a rear-view parking, front fog lights, Bluetooth and a Category 1 alarm.
SR spec adds DAB radio, heated front seats, headlight washers, darkened privacy glass, dynamic cornering, 18-inch alloy wheels, manual height adjustment for the passenger seat, as well as a leather and Alcantara interior. The top-spec EX boasts a full leather interior, smart entry, panoramic glass roof, an electric driver’s seat position memory and a satellite navigation system.
In related news, Honda has just decided to delay the launch of the new generation Accord in Europe because the sedan is expected to gain low sales. Currently, European customers are more interested in SUVs, crossovers, hatchbacks or superminis.
