2013 Honda Accord US pricing announced

Honda has just announced the 2013 Accord will start at $21,680 when it goes on sale in the US on September 19.
Specifically, the base LX sedan has a starting price of $21,680, while the V6 Touring model costs $33,430. Both will not include a $790 destination charge. Meanwhile, the Coupe version will go on sale on October 15 with prices ranging from $23,350 for the four-cylinder LX-S to $32,250 for the V6 EX-L with Navigation, again not including a $790 destination and handling charge. However, pricing for the plug-in hybrid and hybrid versions is yet to be announced.
All Accords come with standard features like alloy wheels, a rearview camera, an Expanded View Driver's Mirror, Bluetooth, HandsFreeLink, USB/iPod integration, Pandora internet radio compatibility, SMS text message function, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 160-watt AM/FM/CD audio system.
New for the 2013 Accord Sedan are the Sport and Touring trim levels, with Sport ($24,180) is equipped with bigger alloys, electric leather seats, fog lights, dual exhausts, stiffer suspension and strut bars, as well as a small increase in engine output. While the Touring model ($34,220) offers LED headlights and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Under the hood, three different engines are available. The new 2.4-liter direct-injected (DI) engine delivers more than 181 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque, mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission. The 3.5-liter V6 i-VTEC engine produces 271 hp, mated to a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. The plug-in hybrid will use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, a 161 hp electric motor, a 6 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric continuously variable transmission (E-CVT).
