2013 Ford Fusion starts at $21,700

Ford has recently announced the official price list of the 2013 Fusion in the U.S.
According to the North American automaker, the entry-level Fusion S will start at $21,700, excluding a $795 destination/delivery fee, while EcoBoost Titanium version costs $29,995.
The engine lineup includes a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated inline-4 with 170 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbo 4-cylinder engine produces 179 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque, along with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with 237 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque. All models come with front-wheel-drive as standard but the 2.0 EcoBoost variant can be ordered with an all-wheel drive system for an extra $2,000.
Meanwhile, the 2013 Fusion Hybrid will go on sale later this year with prices starting at $27,495. Motivation is provided by a 2.0 liter Atkinson 4-cylinder engine which is expected to deliver a best-in-class fuel economy of 47/44 mpg in city/highway.
