2013 Chrysler 300 Glacier Edition unveiled

Chrysler has recently announced plans to offer a new special edition of the 300, called the Glacier.
Set go on sale this fall, the sedan is based on the 300S and is described as the "ultimate all-weather athlete". It features a black chrome grille, black mirror caps, black headlight trim as well as 19-inch aluminum wheels with a satin carbon finish.
Customers can order in three exterior colors: Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic and Glacier-exclusive Glacier Blue Pearl.
The interior gets leather seats, piano black trim and steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters. The cabin is also equipped with embroidered floor mats and "matte carbon hydrographic accents."
Under the hood, engine options will include: a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 hp and a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 363 hp. Both are connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but we expect Glacier models to begin in the $37,000 range.
