To celebrate 25 years of V12 engines, which started back in 1987 when the then groundbreaking powerplant debuted in the 750iL, BMW has launched a special limited edition of the 760Li, called the V12 25 Years Limited Edition.

Only 15 of these models will be available to US customers on a special order basis only for BMW Center delivery in early 2013 at a price of $159,695 including destination and handling.

The BMW 760Li V12 25 Years Edition will be built with BMW Individual Champagne Full Merino Leather and, exclusively for this model, black piping. The black floor mats and rear footrests are also complimented by contrasting piping in Champagne. The door sills, headrests and iDrive controllers are all specially badged with V12 25 Years Edition.

The flagship sedan will also receive rear seat entertainment with iDrive control, 20-inch Individual wheels, an Alcantara headliner finished in Champagne, all pillars done in black leather, rear parcel shelf in Anthracite Alcantara, BMW Individual Piano Black wood trim, Piano Black wood inlay in the steering wheel and Shadowline exterior trim. A full range of exterior colors is available for this limited edition as well as additional options.

Power comes from a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 535 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 130 mph or 155 mph with an option M Sport Package.
