Aston Martin has officially unveiled the 2013 DB9, ahead of its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on September 27.

Starting with the exterior, the updated DB9 features new bumpers, a redesigned hood, a new front grille, single bi-xenon headlamps with integrated LED side lights, new front fender air vents, a much more pronounced spoiler lip to improve aerodynamics and
20-inch five-spoke cast alloy silver wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires.

Inside, the cabin comes with higher-quality materials and can be ordered in a 2+2 or two-seat configuration. Standard equipment includes electrically adjustable sports seats with side airbags, heated front seats (sports seats only), a backup camera, leather sports steering wheel, satellite navigation and cruise control.

Power comes from a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 510 hp at 6,500 rpm and 620 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm - an increase of 40 hp and 19 Nm. It is mated to a Touchtronic 2 six-speed gearbox which allows the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 295 km/h.


In addition, the sports car also equipped with safety features such as dynamic stability control (DSC) with track mode, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (EBA) and traction control (TC).

Prices of the 2013 Aston Martin DB9 starts at $185,400 with the first cars to arrive in dealerships in the UK and Western Europe this October.
