2013 Acura TSX priced from $31,405

To help widen the gap between the TSX from the smaller ILX, Acura has increased the pricing $500 across every trim level for the 2013 TSX.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the base model with the five-speed automatic transmission will have a starting price of $31,405, including destination fee. Most TSX models will be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque.
For those looking for more power, the TSX V6 costs $40,045 and comes with the Technology Package which includes a navigation system, AcuraLink with traffic and weather, and a 415-watt 10-speaker sound system. Motivation is provided by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 280 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque.
Meanwhile, the TSX special edition ($32,405) will be mated to a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. It gets a body kit, aluminum pedals, synthetic suede seats, a black headliner and contrast red stitching. The six-speed manual model will have 2 more lb-ft of torque over the five-speed automatic model.
All models is equipped with standard features like HID headlights, a moonroof, leather seating, heated and power front seats, and a 360-watt seven-speaker audio system. In addition, the base TSX with the Technology Package starts at $34,505.
For comparison, the 2013 ILX, which is powered by a 2.0-liter I-4 engine, starts at $30,095 with HID headlights and leather seats, but rises to $32,295 with features like a 10-speaker sound system and a navigation system.
