Hennessey Performance has recently released a video showing an one-mile drag race between a Lamborghini Aventador and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. According to the famous North American tuner, both vehicles are "100% stock" without any modifications.
Just a small recap, the all-wheel drive Aventador LP700-4 is powered by a mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine with 691 hp and 690 Nm of torque. This allows the 1,575 kg supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 350 km/h.
Meanwhile, the rear-wheel drive SLS AMG Roadster features a front-mounted 6.3-liter V8 engine with 563 hp and 650 Nm of torque. This allows the 1,735 kg convertible to run from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 317 km/h.
