British sports carmaker Trident has revealed their Iceni Grand Tourer will make its debut at the 2012 Salon Privé, which will be held at West London’s Syon Park from September 5 to 7.
This open-top model is priced from £75,000 (€94,900 / $118,700) and powered by a mid-front mounted 6.6-liter turbodiesel engine with 430 hp and 1,286 Nm of torque at less than 3,250 rpm. This allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of almost 321 km/h. There’s also an upgrade package, in which case, the engine will develop 660 hp and 1,422 Nm of torque.
In terms of efficiency, the brand says that "at a constant 70 mph (113 km/h) the specially tuned engine runs at just 980 rpm, produces 700 lb-ft of torque, is capable of 68. 9mpg UK (57.4 mpg US or 4.1lt/100km) and will keep going for over 2000 miles (3,218 km) on one full tank of diesel".
