Japanese carmaker Nissan has recently announced a special edition of the Micra for the British market.
Produced in collaboration with the fashion magazine ELLE, the special edition of the city car features a panoramic glass roof, chrome interior door handles, chromed accents to the grille’s lower part, 15-inch titanium grey alloy wheels, a roof spoiler and fog lamps. Customers have a choice of three colours: Shiraz Red, Alabaster White and Atlas Blue.
Standard equipment includes automatic air conditioning, Intelligent Key for keyless entry and push button start, electrically heated, folding door mirrors, a speed limiter and cruise control. Meanwhile, the model will get Nissan Connect integrated satellite navigation and infotainment system as option.
Under the hood, two engines are available. The 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine develops 79 hp, while the 1.2-liter DIG-S gasoline engine creates 96 hp and has CO2 emissions of 99 g/km. With the DIG-S version, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 180 km/h.
Production will be limited to 500 units and pricing starts at £12,000.
