Hyundai has recently announced the Veloster Turbo SE will start at £21,995 when it goes on sale in the United Kingdom on September 24.
According to the South Korean carmaker, the coupe is fitted with recalibrated dampers, a larger rear spoiler, new bumpers, front grille, diffuser, alongside 18-inch alloy wheels, LED brake lights and a "Turbo" badge. Meanwhile, the cabin comes with new leather seats, a 7-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system and an updated 8-speaker sound system with subwoofer.
Motivation
is provided by a 1.6-liter direct-injection petrol engine with 184 hp and 265 Nm. The power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, allowing the car
to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.4 seconds, before hitting a top speed of
133 mph. In terms of efficiency, economy figures are 40.9 mpg with
CO2 emissions of 157 g/km.
The Veloster Turbo SE will
cost £21,995 as standard in White Crystal. Also, Phantom Black and Matt Grey are offered
as an extra with £445 and £525, respectively.
