Entry-level BMW X3 sDrive18d launched in the UK

BMW has recently launched a new entry-level version of the X3 in the United Kingdom.

Called the sDrive18d, the crossover is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower turbocharged diesel engine with 143 hp and 360 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 2,500 rpm. It is mated a standard six-speed manual gearbox, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 195 km/h. In terms of efficacy, it returns an efficiency of 5.1-liter per 100 km (55.4 mpg UK) and CO2 emissions stand at 135 g/km.

When equipped with the optional 8-speed automatic transmission, the respectively figures would be 10.3 seconds, 190 km/h, 5.4-liter per 100 km (52.3 mpg UK) and 142 g/km.

Available in two trim levels (SE and M Sport), the BMW X3 sDrive18d has a starting price of £28,850.
