2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek pricing released

Subaru has recently released the official price list of the 2013 XV Crosstrek.

Set to go on sale this fall, the base version will start at $22,790, including a $795 destination charge, while the Limited model will cost $25,290, including shipping costs.

According to the Japanese carmaket, the entry-level XV Crosstrek is fitted with a power moonroof, seven airbags, a navigation system, roof rails, fog lights and 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the top of the line model adds leather upholstery, rear view camera and automatic climate control.

Built upon the same platform as the Impreza, the crossover is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 148 hp. The power is transmitted to the symmetrical all-wheel drive system via a five-speed manual or a second-generation Lineartronic continuously variable transmission.

Subaru estimates that the XV Crosstrek will be the most fuel efficient all-wheel drive crossover on the market, returning up to 25 mpg in the city, 33 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg for the combined driving cycle.

Now, orders can already be placed for the model.
