Nissan has just announced the pricing of the 2013 Rogue in the U.S., which starts at $22,310 for the entry-level model, excluding destination. It's a $240 more expensive than last year’s models.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the new crossover is offered in two trims, S and SV, along with three option packages - Special Edition, Premium Edition and SL Package.
New for the 2013 Special Edition Package (available on S models) are Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System and two additional speakers (6 total) to the previous list of AM/FM/CD audio system with 4.3-inch color display and USB connectivity, steering wheel audio controls, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), RearView Monitor, 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, front fog lights and privacy glass. All this demands a premium of $1200 over the base price.
The 2013 Premium Edition Package, which replaces the previous Premium Package on SV models, adds fog lights and a Bosse sound system with seven speakers and a subwoofer to the previous list of Nissan Navigation with 5-inch color touch screen, NavTraffic capability, Automatic Temperature Control, power sliding moonroof and auto on/off headlights. This package is priced $2,550.
Lastly, the SL Package continues to offer a class-exclusive Around View™ Monitor, which utilizes four separate cameras to create a virtual 360° overhead view of the Rogue and its surroundings when parking.
All models are powered by a 170 hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to a xTronic CVT gearbox.
