The 2013 ASX has recently been launched in Australia by Japanese carmaker Mitsubishi.

Accordingly, the new crossover comes with some changes as the refreshed lower bumper, redesigned foglights, different grille and 18-inch eight-spoke ally wheels. Two new paint finishes have also been added to the lineup: Quick Silver and White Pearl.

Under the hood, the ASX 4WD is powered by a 1.8-liter turbodiesel engine with 147 hp and 300 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox which allows the car to return 5.7-liter per 100 km, while CO2 emissions of 149 g/km.

As for the ASX 2WD and 2WD Aspire models, all versions feature a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 147 hp and 197 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the two front wheels via a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. In terms of efficiency, two models return 7.9-liter per 100 km with the manual transmission, while with the CVT have a fuel consumption of 7.7-liter per 100 km.

Safety features include electronic brake distribution, hill start control system, RISE - Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution structure, seven airbags and ASTC - Active Stability Control with Traction Control.
