German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has just announced the pricing of the 2013 CLS Shooting Brake in the United Kingdom.
Set to go on sale in mid-September, the station wagon version of the CLS will be available with three different engine variants. First up, the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake has a starting price of £49,360 and features a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel with engine 201 hp. It has a combined fuel consumption of 53.3 mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 139 g/km.
Next, the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake costs £53,000 and powered by a V6 turbo diesel with 261hp. In terms of efficacy, this model returns a combined fuel economy of 47.1 mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 161 g/km.
Lastly, the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake is priced from £83,030 and sports a 518 hp 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 engine which offers 28 mpg UK and emits 235 g/km of CO2.
All models come with standard features like visible exhaust pipes, a Becker MAP PILOT (CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY) or the COMAND Online multimedia system (CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 63 AMG), DAB, leather upholstery, Parktronic front and rear, metallic paint, Bi-Xenon headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The CLS Shooting Brake also includes additional standard specification over the CLS Coupe, such as the Easy-Pack Quickfold rear seat adjustment, Easy-Pack load compartment cover and a rear air suspension, helping to ensure optimum road holding at all times.
