Audi has recently revealed the official price list for the 2013 R8 in the United Kingdom.
According to the German carmaker, the cheapest version is the 4.2 V8 Coupe which has a starting price of £91,575, while the range-topping R8 V10 Plus will start at least £127,575 with the double-clutch gearbox. Customers can order their car from next month with first deliveries will take place in early 2013.
As a reminder, the 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine, which is linked with the 7-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission as standard, produces 424 hp and 430 Nm of torque. With the optional S Tronic transmission, the coupe can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds while the Spyder is 4.6 seconds. Both variants hit a top speed of 302 km/h.
The 5.2-liter FSI V10 engine is available in two outputs. The base model develops 518 hp and 530 Nm of torque, allowing the car to run from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds before reaching a top speed of 313 km/h. Meanwhile the new range topping "Plus" version creates 542 hp and 540 Nm of torque, allowing it to rocket from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 317 km/h.
