Audi has recently announced the R8 Exclusive Selection Editions exclusive to the US market. Only 20 units of the R8 V8 and 30 units of the R8 V10 will be made.
According to the German carmaker, the R8 V8 Exclusive Selection Edition has a Daytona Gray matte exterior complete with a carbon fiber exterior splitter and diffuser, a black grille surround, red brake calipers, 19-inch titanium five double spoke wheels, black grille surround, black exhaust finishers and R8 GT tail lamps.
The interior features an exclusive leather package with Crimson Red trims and contrast stitching, exclusive leather Navigation surround and aa thicker contoured leather multifunctional steering wheel for a sportier grip. Power comes from a 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine with 430 hp at 7,900 rpm and 427 Nm of torque between 4,500 rpm and 6,000 rpm.
Meanwhile, the R8 V10 Exclusive Selection Edition comes in a fabulous Ibis white exterior with Brilliant Black accents, combined with R8 GT tail lamps, rear license plate surround and 19-inch bi-color e-tron wheels. Inside, the cabin has a contoured steering wheel, a leather navigation surround, a carbon fiber monoposto driver’s cockpit, Ibis finishes and Alabaster White contrasting stitching. This version is powered by a 5.2-liter FSI V10 engine with 525 hp at 8,000 rpm and 529 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Both are mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic R tronic transmission.
