An entry-level version of the Vauxhall Ampera, named the Earth, has recently been introduced in the United Kingdom.
Currently available for order, the model has a starting price of £29,995 after government incentives and comes nicely equipped with power windows / locks, electronic climate control, leather seats, a seven-inch touchscreen display, DAB radio and Bluetooth.
Under the bonnet, the Ampera Earth is powered by a 1.4-liter petrol engine and a electric motor. This setup allows it to develop 150 hp and 370 Nm of torque. According to the British carmaker, the car can hit a top speed of 161 km/h and travel up to 64 km on electricity alone.
