Croatian carmaker Rimac Automobili has recently announced the Concept_One will make its UK debut at this year’s Salon Prive in September at London’s Syon Park.
"We started with a blank sheet of paper. The idea was to create an exceptional supercar with a new propulsion concept. What we have here is a fully-fledged hypercar that is as powerful as a Bugatti, as stylish as a Ferrari and as luxurious as a Mercedes, all while managing to forsake even the tiniest sip of gasoline", said Rimac Automobili CEO, Mate Rimac.
First revealed at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show, the Rimac Concept_One takes around 2.8 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h and hit an electronically limited top speed of 305 km/h, thanks to four electric motors, placed at each wheel, which produces 1,088 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque. The 1,650 kg supercar can travel up to 600 km on a single charge.
Only 88 units will be built and pricing starts at $980,000 (€740,000).
