Following the Twingo RB7 and Clio RB7 special editions announced earlier this year, Renault has recently continued to launch a limited edition of the Megane RS, called the Red Bull Racing RB7.
Developed to celebrate Mark Webber’s Formula 1 win at the British Grand Prix, the Megane RB7 is distinguished by a Etoile Black body color, yellow colored front bumper spoiler, mirrors and rear diffuser, a chequered-flag pattern roof decal and Red Bull Racing's official logos on the doors. Inside, the cabin has Recaro bucket seats, numbered plaque and unique gear lever knob.
Under the hood, the 2.0-liter 16-valve engine has been equipped with a Stop&Start system which allows it to produce 261 hp and 360 Nm of torque. According to the French carmaker, the car can average 7.5-liter per 100 km (down 0.7-liter per 100 km) while CO2 emissions of 174 g/km, bringing the eco-surtax down by €550 from €1,300 in France.
The Renault Megane RS Red Bull Racing Rb7 Limited Edition will go on sale in Austria later this month followed by France in September and eventually, it will become available in more than 24 countries.
