Mitsubishi has officially unveiled the new Proudia and Dignity flagships in Japan.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the Proudia is based on the Infiniti M-Class and has a starting price of ¥4,022,000 ($50,495). It features a revised grille with Mitsubishi badging and brand-specific rim designs, while the cabin will be equipped with everything from leather upholstery to power reclining rear seats.
Under the bonnet, two engine options are available: a 2.5-liter V6 engine with 222 hp and 258 Nm of torque as well as a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 328 hp and 363 Nm of torque. Both are mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is optional on the 3.7-liter model.
Meanwhile, the Dignity is a long wheelbase variant which is based on the Infiniti M35hL and will starts at ¥8,400,000 ($105,460). It is 150 mm longer than the Proudia and powered by a hybridized 3.5-liter V6 engine with 360 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
Both cars are scheduled to hit Mitsubishi showrooms before the end of the month.
