Earlier this year, MINI confirmed the final production version of the Paceman Concept will hit the market as the Countryman Coupe. But now, the BMW-owned brand has announced the model will in fact retain the Paceman name.
The three-door version of the Countryman crossover will be almost identical to the concept but it will have a few minor modifications to the rear end styling.
The production Paceman is expected to be officially presented at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale in 2013.
