After being revealed just a week ago, Mercedes has released first official images and details of the all-new CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake.
According to the German carmaker, the high-performance variant uses the same drivetrain as its four-door coupe sibling with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 which develops 530 hp at 5,500 rpm and 800 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,500 rpm. This allows the wagon to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h. Meanwhile, with the optional AMG Performance package, the engine will produce 556 hp and 900 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the car can run from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 280 km/h.
Mated to an AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed sport transmission, the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake achieves a combined fuel consumption figure of 10.1-liter per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 235 g/km.
