Lamborghini Urus to start at €170,000

Although it is still waiting to receive the green light, but the production version of the Lamborghini Urus concept will start at €170,000 (£135,000 / $207,000), according to a report from Car Magazine. This means the crossover will be the cheapest model offered by the Italian carmaker.

Lamborghini is targeting around 3,000 annual sales, with the supercar expected to enter production in 2016. The model will be underpinned by the same PL73 platform as the next-generation Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg and the production version of Bentley's EXP 9 F concept. With the use of lightweight materials such as carbon fiber and aluminum, the car weights around 4,400 lbs (1,996 kg)

Rumors say that the Urus will be powered by an Audi's 4.2-liter V8 engine with 600 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque, but a 4.0-liter V8 and a 6.0-liter W12 are also expected under its hood.
