Lamborghini has recently unveiled a limited edition of the Gallardo LP550-2, dubbed the Hong Kong 20th Anniversary Edition.
Created to celebrate Kingsway Car’s 20th Anniversary as the official Lamborghini dealership in Hong Kong, the special edition is finished in a special solid white finish called Bianco Monocerus combined with matte gold strips running from its front bonnet to the roof and the engine bonnet. The front spoilers and rear bumper received special "HK20" logos, while the rear spoilers and side skirts are painted in matte black. The wheels are matte gold Cordelia rims.
Climbing into the cockpit, we find seats made with Q-citura quilted stitching on black Alcantara material, a red transmission shifter offsetting the matte black selector plate and special HK20 logos on the headrests.
Motivation is provided by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 550 hp. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an E-gear transmission, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 320 km/h.
Only 8 units will be produced and pricing for each starts at HK$3,680,000 - about $475,000 at the current exchange rates.
