Audi has recently released the pricing for their 2013 S and RS lineup in the US.
According to the German carmaker, the $71,900 S6 and the $78,800 S7 feature a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 414 hp and 550 Nm of torque. This allows the S6 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, while the S7 is in 4.9 seconds. Both hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Next, the S8 has a starting price of $110,000 and uses the same twin-turbo V8 engine as the S6 and S7, but in a totally different state of tune, which develops 513 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed transmission and quattro all-wheel drive, allowing the sedan to run from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds.
Lastly, the $68,900 RS5 has a 4.2-liter V8 engine with 444 hp and 430 Nm of torque. The coupe can rocket from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h. It comes with standard features like DVD navigation, Bluetooth phone preparation, cruise control and Audi Music Interface iPod connection. As far as the optional goodies go, the main novelty is the Sport Package, which includes Dynamic Ride Control, sports exhaust, dynamic steering and 19-inch rotor-design titanium-look alloy wheels.
The S6, S7 and S8 will arrive at dealerships this fall, while the RS5 is currently on sale.
