The Audi Q3, the third and smallest SUV in the Audi lineup, has recently been launched in Malaysia for a starting price of RM258,000 on the road without insurance.
Compared to its Q5 and Q7 bigger brothers, the crossover is an excellent combination between strengths of a classic SUV with advanced driving dynamics and efficiency. It is 4,385 mm long, 1,831 mm wide and 1,608 mm tall - it’s 239 mm shorter and 50 mm narrower than the Q5.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged direct injection engine with 170 hp between 4,300 to 6,300 rpm and 280 Nm of torque from 1,700 to 4,200 rpm. It is linked to a seven-speed dual clutch S-Tronic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 212 km. With the lightweight construction, efficient powertrain and the automatic start/stop technology, the model returns an average 7.7-liter per 100 km.
Standard features include Anti-lock braking system (ABS), ESC, xenon plus headlamps, six airbags, Bluetooth, voice control for the audio system, 6.5-inch TFT color display, 10-speaker Audi sound system, cruise control, multi-function leather steering wheel and 17-inch alloy wheels.
