Spanish carmaker Aspid has revealed the first images and details about their GT-21 Invictus.
Based on the Aspid Super Sport, the supercar measures 4,447 mm long, 1,883 mm wide and a height of 1,226 mm. It features an 80 kg aluminum chassis, a composite body which resembles a futuristic Plymouth Prowler and an advanced brake system that is lightweight and virtually eliminates overheating. There's also a dual-screen UniDrive infotainment system (with GSM/GPRS/GPS/WiFi)
Motivation is provided by a BMW-sourced 4.4-liter V8 engine with 444 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The power is sent the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch transmission with paddle-shifters on the steering wheel, allowing the 965 kg sports car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and hit a top speed of 305 km/h.
The GT-21 Invictus will be available through an exclusive network of 20 dealers across Europe within two years with 250 units will be built annually.
