Volkswagen has teamed up with the legendary American guitar maker Fender to present the Beetle Fender Edition at the 2012 Auto Mobil International (AMI) in Leipzig, Germany.
First revealed as a concept study back in September 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the special edition features Deep Black Metallic paint, bi-xenon headlights, brushed chrome mirrors, Fender logos and 18-inch Disc aluminum-alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin comes with sports seats, air conditioning, a 400-watt Fender sound system with a 10-channel amplifier and the main highlight is the sunburst dashboard like the Fender guitars.
Under the hood, the car is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine with 200 hp.
The 2013 Beetle Fender Edition will go on sale in Europe and America from this autumn with pricing will be announced at a later date.
