The German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has recently released the first promotional video for the 2013 A-Class.
Set to go on sale in September across Europe, the new-generation A-Class will have a starting price of €24,000 and comes with standard features like the driver’s knee airbag, two front airbags, thorax/pelvis airbags incorporated into the seats.
In addition, a full range of safety systems is being offered as optional, including PreSafe preventive occupant protection, attention assist, hill-start assist, Distronic Plus, adaptive high-beam assist, blind-spot assist, lane-keeping assist, speed limit assist and active parking assist.
Under the hood, the engine lineup will include units ranging between 109 hp and 211 hp. All engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
