Nissan has recently announced the Juke Nismo production will be officially presented at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race on June 13. The performance compact crossover will be the first in a series of future Nismo models.

According to the Japanese carmaker, the model features an aerodynamic body kit consisting of new bumpers, LED daytime lights, wider wings, redesigned side skirts, a modified grille, a tailgate spoiler and a fresh set of 18-inch Nismo wheels. Other enhancements include a stiffer suspension system, sportier steering and torque vectoring technology for improved handling.

Inside, the steering wheel, pedals, gauges, gear knob and door trims have been redesigned to boost the sporty feeling. There's also special suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats with red stitching.

The Nissan Juke Nismo will go on sale in Europe in 2013.
