To celebrate the partnership with Mercedes-Benz for the past 45 years, AMG has unveiled a special edition of the SL65 AMG.
Called the the SL65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition, the model features an exclusive designo magno graphite paint and a matte Exterior Carbon package which includes a front spoiler lip, side mirrors and a rear spoiler. There's also a carbon / aluminum engine cover, a sports exhaust system and AMG forged wheels (19-inch at the front, 20-inch in the rear), with a titanium grey finish, wrapped in 255/35 and 285/30 tires.
Inside, the cabin has custom upholstered leather seats, a two-tone AMG Performance steering wheel, matte carbon fiber trim elements and alloy pedals. There's also a "45th Anniversary - 1 of 45" plate on the center console, a Bang & Olufsen audio system and a COMAND Online infotainment system.
Power comes from a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine with 621 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. It is mated to an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission, allowing the super GT to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and hit a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
Only 45 units will be available worldwide and pricing will be announced in September.
