After being presented a few days ago at the Leipzig Auto Show, the MX-5 Senshu will be launched in Germany in the near future, according to the Japanese carmaker Mazda.

Named from a Japanese word meaning "player", the special edition is based on the soft-top's Sports Line trim and is available in three colors: red, white and black. It features a matte black rear diffuser, a black surround for the front grille, xenon headlights and unique racing stripes. There's also a Bilstein sports suspension system, twin chrome tail pipes and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 205/45 tires.

Inside, the cabin is equipped with two-tone black and grey leather seats, door panels with red stitching, aluminum pedals, automatic climate control, cruise control and a Bose audio system.

Under the hood, the MX-5 Senshu is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 158 horsepower. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
