Mazda has recently announced the MX-5 GT concept will be introduced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 28.
Inspired by the MX-5 GT racer, the concept has a black and orange exterior with a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts and a rear diffuser. There's also a sportier exhaust system with two center-exit exhaust pipes and a sport-tuned suspension.
For the interior, the Japanese carmaker says the cabin is equipped with lightweight Recaro sport seats with bigger bolsters, a roll cage and carbon fiber trim.
Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 205 hp. It is mated a standard six-speed manual gearbox, allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just three seconds and hit a top speed of 160 mph.
