After being revealed last week at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the Ford Evos concept has been introduced at the Computex 2012, marking its Asian debut.
"Today, drivers have to adapt to the features and capabilities of their car. What the Evos Concept does it take advantage of cloud technology so the car seamlessly adapts to the driver, taking the driving experience to a whole new level of personalization and convenience", said the Managing director of European Ford Research Center, Pim van der Jagt.
First shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Evos concept is 4,5 m long, 1,97 m wide and 1,36 m tall. It comes with a grille mounted in a high position, slim laser cut front headlights with LEDs, a small air intake and four interesting doors with gullwing-style.
Inside, the cabin is designed with fun-to-drive spirit to enhance interaction between the car and the driver.
Under the bonnet, power comes from a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-liter petrol engine and an electric motor, allowing the model to travel up to 500 miles.
